Two brothers and another met to create a new innovation in LeMons racing experience! Founder of the team, Josh Fuller from Cleveland, Ohio and his brother Mark Fuller from Beaver, Pa teamed up with Roger Gestner of Belle Vernon, Pa to create a new option for LeMons racing. The result? The CovidCruiser61 race team was born.
Mark Fuller established the team in XXXX and guided the design, vision snd building of the CovidCruiser61 racecar. With his brother Mark, and their new team member Roger Gestner, they embarked upon an interesting endeavor to create and build the most exciting LeMons car in history. And they succeeded!
Finding the car was the easy part, making it great required talent, vision and hard work along with an original flare for the dramatic. According to the LeMons race rules, only $500 can be spent on the car purchase and development. Safety costs are not limited or included in the $500 max cap, which allows each team to create a safe exciting racecar worthy of the LeMon-24 brand.
Inspired by the 2020 Covid19 pandemic, the CovidCruiser61 was born. As a play on words, the 61 number assigned to the racecar was just the inverted 19 from the Covid pandemic strain.
Selecting a venue to premier the CovidCruiser61 was easy by default. PITTSBURGH is the venue to meet the CovidCruiser61 and their talented drivers, Pit-crew and their family of supporters.
Premier of the CovidCruiser61 will be at the Pittsburgh International Raceway in Wampum, Pa at the LeMons Race scheduled for April 16-19!
